Seri MotoGP Sirkuit Silverstone Inggris (Octo British Grand Prix) dimulai Jumat 28 Agustus berupa latihan bebas hingga raceMinggu 30 Agustus 2015.
Dilansir laman motogp.com, musim lalu Marc Marquez tampi sebagai juara, diikuti Jorge Lorenzo dan Valentino Rossi. Jorge Lorenzo tercatat tiga kali menang di sirkuit sepanjang 5,9 Km dengan jumlah balapan 20 laps ini.
MotoGP Inggris 2015 merupakan babak baru persaingan ketat rider Movistar Yamaha, Valentino Rossi dan Jorge Lorenzo yang memiliki poin yang sama (211) di puncak klasemen. Marc Marquez di posisi 3 dengan selisih 52 poin.
Lorenzo mengakui persaingan merebut gelar juara dari nol lagi karena kesamaan poin. Marquez mengaku pesimistis bisa mengejar poin kedua pebalap Yamaha itu, meski ia akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin.
